Lovejoys Senior/Light Duck & Rice 12kg

A perfect diet for senior dogs, or those with a bit of a weight problem, our Duck & Rice senior/light is tasty and appetising. Fat and protein content is lower, which makes it ideal for older dogs that perhaps don’t get as much exercise as they used to while helping maintain their weight and putting less stress on their joints. Our hypoallergenic Duck & Rice senior/light diet is made from a single protein source. Many known allergens, such as wheat, wheat gluten, dairy, pork, beef and soya are excluded. Glucosamine and chondroitin help promote joint repair and mobility and seaweed oil containing DHA (Docosahexenoic Acid) supports a healthy brain, vision and nervous system. Lovejoys® crunchy kibble has been designed to help remove plaque and tartar, reducing unpleasant breath in the process. There are no added artificial colours, flavours or preservatives in any of our foods. Naturally good is the way we make it and promise that we always will.

Feeding Guide:

Lovejoys® is normally fed dry, but do make sure there is always a separate bowl of water available. Alternatively it can be moistened with warm water which will bring out the flavour. You can feed in one meal a day or two. If your dog prefers two feeds a day, we recommend one third in the morning and two thirds in the evening.

See the feeding guide table for the correct amount. We recommend soaking a small amount of food in warm water to soften it first, then gradually reduce the amount of water and introduce fresh dry kibble a little at a time.
