Lovejoys Senior/Light Duck & Rice 12kg
Ideal for senior dogs or those with a bit of a weight problem, our senior/light Turkey & Rice is our most popular flavour anytime of year. A reduced fat and protein content makes it ideal for older dogs who perhaps dont run around quite as much as they once did, helping to maintain their weight and reducing stress on their joints. Our Turkey & Rice senior/light diet is made using a single source of protein. It is hypoallergenic and excludes many known allergens, such as wheat, wheat gluten, dairy, pork, beef and soya. To help promote joint repair and mobility we add glucosamine and chondroitin and we also include seaweed oil because it contains DHA (Docosahexenoic Acid) which supports a healthy brain, vision and nervous system. Lovejoys® crunchy kibble is good for their teeth and gums and can help remove plaque and tartar, reducing unpleasant breath in the process. There are no added artificial colours, flavours or preservatives in any of our foods. Naturally good is the way we make it and promise that we always will.

Lovejoys® is normally fed dry, but do make sure there is always a separate bowl of water available. Alternatively it can be moistened with warm water which will bring out the flavour. You can feed in one meal a day or two. If your dog prefers two feeds a day, we recommend one third in the morning and two thirds in the evening.
See the feeding guide table for the correct amount. We recommend soaking a small amount of food in warm water to soften it first, then gradually reduce the amount of water and introduce fresh dry kibble a little at a time.
